RATES and POLICIES

Rates and Policies

Tuition is paid to reserve a weekly time slot for the entire session, and pays not only for the training to be given, but for holding the time slot each week.

THERE WILL BE NO REFUND

FOR MISSED LESSONS

In order to receive a makeup lesson, 24 hours of notice must be given (except in instances of sudden illness). I can guarantee only 1 make-up lesson per student for the session. Make up lessons will be offered weekly in the event another student has cancelled and on the make up dates provided. Contact me if interested.

All lessons that I cancel

will be made up or refunded.

If you are not able to make your scheduled lesson, please call, text or email me as soon as possible so that I may attempt to schedule another student during that time.

DROPPING OFF YOUR CHILD

Please be sure that your child is all the way in the house before you drive away. An unexpected emergency could require me to be absent from my home and in this type of situation it may not be possible to notify you of a cancellation. Also, please pay careful attention to scheduled breaks and vacation dates, so that you do not accidentally drop off your child when there are no lessons.

PRACTICE/STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Students should practice a minimum of five days a week with the length of time to be determined by me based on the student’s level and/or age. Parents are asked to help schedule times for practice free from distractions. Students should arrive on time with all currently assigned books and music.

Vocalists, PLEASE put your xeroxed music in a three ring binder. Insufficient practice, excessive missed lessons, and not having the correct materials at the lessons may lead to a recommendation that lessons be discontinued.

Each year will be divided into three sessions: Fall, Winter-Spring, and Summer. Students are expected to continue with lessons through each of the sessions. If a student drops out of lessons for a session, they may be placed on a waiting list.
